Mike Spradlin and Sara Martz opened their first Rib City location in 2004, in Grand Junction, Colorado, and the Fruita, Colorado location was opened in 2005. Now, both locations are owned and operated by 20 year employee, Nick Auman.

Everyone shows up on Wednesday night where most restaurants wouldn’t expect a big crowd. However, you combine delicious fare with $1 draft beers, and to nobody’s surprise, it looks like a Friday or Saturday instead.
With neighbors getting the chance to meet one another and settle into their seats, the exceptional wait staff bring out a great spread of appetizers to get things going. One specialty is the tasty Fried Okra, served with homemade Ranch Dressing... hard to find in Western Colorado.
